Gruppo Mastrotto and Vicenza for Children together for Pediatric Surgery

Our collaboration with Vicenza for Children is renewed, once again resulting in a concrete and positive impact on the health of the youngest patients.

The project follows a previous donation, also in support of Pediatric Surgery, of equipment for the diagnosis and endoscopic treatment of gastroenterological diseases. On this occasion, instead, we contributed to the donation of a state-of-the-art pediatric insufflator, ENDOFLator®, destined for the Pediatric Surgery Unit of San Bortolo Hospital in Vicenza.

The insufflator represents a fundamental technology for minimally invasive surgery: it allows physicians to operate with greater precision and safety, reducing post-operative pain, risks, and recovery times for children. An indispensable tool for improving the quality of care offered to young patients in the area and for enhancing the equipment available to public healthcare, with particularly significant relevance also in the neonatal field.

At the handover ceremony, held in the Pediatric Surgery Department of San Bortolo Hospital in Vicenza, a European, national, and regional center of reference for pediatric minimally invasive surgery and urology, participants included our founder Santo Mastrotto and Giovanna Mastrotto, Board Member of the Group; for the healthcare organization, General Director Peter Assembergs and Medical Director Alberto Rigo, as well as the Director of the Pediatric Surgery Unit, Salvatore Fabio Chiarenza; and for Vicenza for Children, President Alberto Girardi.
