“Contemporaneity Meets Memory”: three events curated by Maestro Bepi De Marzi to re-read the books Arciso di Alvese [Arciso of Alvese] and Caro Papà Caro Figlio [Dear Dad, Dear Son]

Treasures found in dusty cellars come to life again on the pages of Arciso di Alvese and of Caro Papà Caro Figlio after a long period of study and meditation; the two books edited by Maestro Bepi De Marzi and by Cecilia Petrosino tell about the anxieties, risks, hopes and achievements of a family taking its first entrepreneurial steps in the post-war tanning industry. The richness contained within these intense historical narrations will be back on stage in Arzignano with three dedicated events entitled “Contemporaneity Meets Memory”, which will include the participation of Maestro Bepi De Marzi. It will be an opportunity to re-read the connection between the past, present and future of a territory with a focus on the evolution of the dialect.

A meeting with students from both the Institute and the Leonardo Da Vinci high school will take place on Wednesday, 20 April (8:40 AM to 10:30 AM) at the ITIS Galileo Galilei.

Maestro Bepi De Marzi will present key passages from the two books, alternating readings with songs from the Crodaioli on Monday, 9 May (from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM) at the Atipografia contemporary cultural space and on Saturday, 14 May (from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM) at the Parkinson Café.
