 EDITORIAL: The world economic picture which is the background to the 2008 autumn is rather complex. in fact, the global market is highlighting all the elements which distinguish its very essence: large and decisive opportunities, but also less safeguards and less protections from potentially negative macro phenomena. The continuous charges of scene have become such an everyday occurrence that it is actually difficult to foresee the reactions of the different markets. In this structured and complex contest, our production syestem should raise more its aptitude to be an expression of excellence and of performance in order to create more value for our Customers. The Mastrotto Group, which is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year, built its history by knowing how to better respond to all influences which occurred over the last fifty years on national and on international level. Its costant growth and success as a leader in its sectors are the results of a knowing ability to understand the economic cycles, to open up on new horizons, to anticipate the choises for future development when possible, and the results of a strong closeness to our Customer, being able to give concrete replies to different historical circumstances of production, commercialization and internationalization. At the "turning point" of the 50th Anniversary of its foundation, the Mastrotto Group lies in a leader position on the market.
