EDITORIAL

This issue of "Newsleather" is being published in the spirit of finding something new, but with the wisdom that comes from turning 50. Tradition, experience, being grounded but also passionate, enthusiasm, innovation: these are the characteristics that have set us apart and made us who we are today.
Though strongly tied to our past we are not afraid of change, especially when it comes to meeting the demands of the market. Today's market is curious, aggressive, at times crazy, and often stimulating. We hope to use our time well, and eventually make it say something about us.
We are constantly preparing for the challenges of today and tomorrow. The Gruppo Mastrotto team prides itself on working well together for half a century. In fact, we consider this team our greatest asset. Although we have gained 50 valuable years of experience, we still like to think of ourselves as "young trainees", just embarking in the field, our humility and fresh abilities leading us to new horizons. The constant need to speed up the development of each new collection has transformed the supplier into a strategic partner. As a result, we must guarantee product innovation, punctuality, and a wide range of services. The fashion world looks for new business solutions, quality, added value, and competiveness. With Mastrotto LAB our dream has come true; we now tell our clients that we do more than merely make suede split.
Research has brought us to this point: experimentation with new items, at work on new ideas, daring to dream. So this is what's new. We have reached a turning point, and we're off in a new direction.
